Sažetak


Govorni poremećaji egzistiraju u svim društvenim uređenjima i kulturama, na svim socio-ekonomskim razinama. Poimanje težine problema i podizanje razine svijesti o njima ovisi o intelektualno-obrazovnom nivou pojedinca, društvenom statusu i ekonomskim prilikama, te o samopercepciji, potrebama i težnjama ka afirmaciji osobne individualnosti i potencijala, u kontekstu društvene prihvaćenosti, i/ili isključenosti. Dostupnost logopedske dijagnostike i terapije ovisi o široj društvenoj zajednici i organizaciji institucija primarne i sekundarne zdravstvene zaštite koja je dosegla nivo svjesnosti o ranoj detekciji, dijagnostici i re/habilitaciji govora kao i o eksplicitnom djelovanju govornih poremećaja na razvoj ličnosti, proces učenja, intelektualno i obrazovno napredovanje.

Ekonomski, društveni i intelektualni status obitelji determiniraju dinamiku i kvalitetu u otklanjanju govornih poremećaja, a na primjerima iz logopedske prakse možemo promatrati određenu diskrepancu između tih parametara kao i percepciju roditelja i njihov angažman u prevladavanju   problema.

Socio-economic status of the family and availability of logopedic treatment

Abstract

Speech disorders exist in all social orders and cultures, on all socio-economic levels. Grasping the difficulty of the problem and raising the awareness level on these depend on intellectual and educational level of the individual, social status and economic circumstances, as well as self-perception, needs and aspirations towards the affirmation of personal individuality and potential, in the context of social acceptance and/or exclusion. The availability of logopedic diagnostics and therapy depends on the broader social community and the set-up of the primary and secondary health protection institutions, which has achieved the level of the awareness on early detection, diagnostics and re/habilitation of speech, and also on the explicit impact of speech disorders on personality development, learning process, intellectual and educational progress.

The dynamics and the quality of speech disorders elimination are determined by economic, social and intellectual status of the family, and on the examples from logopedic praxis we can observe a certain discrepancy among these factors, as well as the perception of the parents and their engagement in overcoming of the problem.
